This booklet presents 16 examples of good practice (8 winners and 8 commended) from the 15th Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards promoting ways of preventing work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) from Austria, Cyprus, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovenia, Belgium, Spain, Finland and The Netherlands.

United Nations, New York, 16, 17 & 19 September 2022

Recognizing that education is a human right and a foundation for peace, tolerance, other human rights and sustainable development, the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General is convening world leaders for a Transforming Education Summit (TES) on Monday 19 September 2022, as a key milestone in the advancement of Our Common Agenda. The Summit will be preceded by engagements on Mobilization and Solutions on Friday, 16 and Saturday, 17 September respectively, in which ministerial-participation is encouraged.

New Member of ENETOSH from Greece

We are glad to welcome a new member to our network: the Department of Nursing included in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Thessaly, Greece. The Department aims to prepare nurses to provide high-quality nursing health care and protect the health outcomes of a group of individuals and populations, considering everyone’s differences in physical, mental, cognitive, spiritual, social, economic, and cultural characteristics. 

A global movement: Vision Zero and 5Z Culture

The 22 International ORP Congress took place from 3 - 5 August, 2022 at Centro de Convenciones Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

Joint online event

This online workshop was held on 23 June 2022 online as a contribution to the priority area "MSDs and future generations" within the currently running EU-OSHA campaign "Lighten the load 2020-22".

European Policy Stakeholder Survey

INAIL and University College Cork are launching a European stakeholder survey on regulation and policy for the prevention of psychosocial risks in Europe. The survey is also supported by the University of Nottingham and the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology.

Through this survey, the implementing organisations are seeking the views of key stakeholders across European countries to evaluate the effectiveness of existing regulation and policies at European and national level in this area, and to identify priorities for the future.

Child Safety

The annual School Safety Summit in Nigeria takes place on 18 May, 2022 in Lagos with speakers and panelists from Guinea, Nigeria and Germany. This 6th summit deals with the topic "Child Safety: Importance of a systematic safety education."

New report by EU-OSHA and ENETOSH

This new report, written by Heinz Hundeloh, former Head of the Educational Institutions Division of the Statutory Accident Insurance for the public sector in North Rhine-Westphalia (Unfallkasse NRW) and of the Educational Institutions Department of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) and Ulrike Bollmann, International Cooperation Unit, Institute for Work and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), Coordinator of the European Network Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health (ENETOSH), published under the project management of Lorenzo Munar, European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), has been released on 26 April and is now available.
