In the ENETOSH session "Building a bridge between occupational safety and health and education for sustainability," Johnny Dyreborg and his daughter Liva will discuss the link between learning for sustainable development at UNESCO Associated School Sortedanskolen in Copenhagen and sustainable prevention of occupational accidents through her father's occupational safety and health research. Malene Christensen, UNGDOMSBYEN, will share on stage a method for training a sustainable mindset in schools and elsewhere, with hands-on demonstrations with participants. Sarah Lyons, representative of the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE), will present the results of a project linking environmental sustainability and occupational health and safety. Last but not least, Kai Gembler and his students will present the Climate Parliament as a tool to strengthen democratic school governance at Max-Windmüller-Gymnasium in Germany.
The ENETOSH session is chaired by Peter Paulus, Director of the Centre for Applied Health Sciences at Leuphana University Lüneburg.
