New Report by EU-OSHA

A new report on Artificial intelligence and education by Dr Ulrike Bollmann has been released by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).

This report examines the opportunities and risks associated with the integration of new digital technologies for the health, safety and wellbeing of teachers in schools. This is viewed both from the perspective of occupational safety and health (OSH) and a pedagogical perspective.

We have a new topic "OSH impact of digitalisation in education". This collection of good practice examples shows the impact that various forms of digitalisation can have on safety and health in education and training. Another topic deals with “Digital teaching and learning” in general.

The ENETOSH network is currently not far away from its 20th (!) anniversary. It all started in 2005, and part of the process has always been the collection of examples of good practice. To guarantee the quality of this collection and the content of the website as well, an Editorial Committee was elected, and the editor of the ENETOSH web platform sent a report to this commitee regularly.
Now, end of August 2024, he sent his 100th Report to the Committee!

We are glad to announce another new member of our network: Association d'assurance accident (AAA), a public institution responsible for the prevention of and compensation for work-related accidents, commuting accidents and occupational diseases from Luxembourg. The ENETOSH network now has 113 Members from 38 countries worldwide.

We are glad to announce a new member of our network: BRAMOSH GLOBAL INSTITUTE, an online platform offering globally recognized training and qualifications in the HSE field, from India. The ENETOSH network now has 112 Members from 37 countries worldwide.

COLOSH, a project by the Faculty of Safety Engineering of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, has been approved and will start on 1 November, 2024.
The aim of the project is to build the capacity and readiness of the partner institutions for an effective transition to international digital learning. This will be achieved through the innovative COIL approach, the effective use of digital technologies and the development of related skills for teachers and students. The project responds to the need for digitalization, internationalisation and practice-orientation of higher education in occupational safety and health (OSH).
