MindMatters is a scientifically supported and practically tested program to promote the social-emotional skills of students in cycles I, II and III as well as in bridging offers. It is based on the concept of “health-promoting schools” and involves the entire school (setting approach).
School advisors support the school during the introduction and implementation. The focus is on long-term anchoring in everyday school life. Successful health promotion starts with teaching, personnel and organizational development.
The teaching modules promote the social-emotional skills of the learners and strengthen relationships between everyone involved in the school. This has a positive effect on the classroom climate and school culture.
The school staff deals with backgrounds and concepts for promoting mental health and thereby expands their knowledge and skills.
The school as an organization anchors measures to promote mental health in everyday school life in the long term.
