WOS.net is an international network of decision makers, researchers and professionals responsible for the prevention of accidents and trauma at work.
The network aims to bring accident prevention experts together in order to facilitate the exchange of experience, new findings and best practices between different countries and sectors. The WOS conference has been organised since 2002, and took place in different locations in Europe. For some years now, WOS has been supporting young scientists in particular.

The 11th international conference of WorkingOnSafety.net – Focus on Humans in a Technological World, which will take place 25- 28th September 2022 in the Real Marina Hotel & Spa, in the city of Olhão, Portugal, will put a focus on the main topics Accident forensics, Company-based safety management systems, Digital work management, Digitalisation, Education, training and lifelong learning, Emerging/new technologies, materials and practices, Future trends and emergent issues, High risk activities – safety in action, Injury prevention by campaigns, Methods and approaches to labor inspection, Research into practice, Risk and prevention during pandemic, Risk Management and safety culture, Safety/Risk Management systems and Vision Zero.
