The Mindfulness Program
The Mindfulness Program for Teachers and Students is an 8-week program based on the internationally acclaimed program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
It is a comprehensive program focused on the development of an ongoing mindfulness practice and way of life. It leads to measurable changes in brain regions associated with: memory, learning, self-awareness, emotion regulation, compassion, anxiety, stress, etc. This changes can occur thanks to brain neuroplasticity.
The program is an evidence-based method for learning mindfulness skills, offered in the following formats: virtual classroom and distance e-learning videos. A face- to-face program can also be developed upon request. Program activities include guided meditation, mindful movement, concepts learning, self-analysis exercises and home practices.
