Intellectual outputs and training courses
The RiskMan project ran for 36 months and ended in August 2021. Main objective of the project was to develop relevant and high-quality competences of future HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) professionals in the area of risk management through transnational cooperation among universities, insurance institutions, enterprises and other key stakeholders. Two universities, from Czech Republic and Portugal, worked together with AUVA, the Austrian Social Insurance for Occupational Risks from Austria, and some associated partners.
Now the first outputs can be found on the RiskMan website. A toolkit of innovative teaching methods and tools (the O1 Toolkit), including the didactical concepts, was developed for building competence in HSE risk management. Furthermore, an e-learning-course "Interactive HSE risk management" (O2 course), based on the Google classroom blended learning platform and incorporating innovative methods and tools from the 01 toolkit, is available online. The third outcome is an Industry Trainee Program module on HSE risk management (O3 Trainee program), developed with the objective to enable university students to gain practical skills in real industrial companies. The output was realized as a module for possible implementation in other industrial companies.
All files of the toolkit and the Industry trainee program module can be downloaded, the digital e-learning platform "Interactive HSE risk management" can be directly accessed from the "Intellectual Outputs"- page on the RiskMan website.
