The Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards recognise innovative and sustainable approaches to managing occupational safety and health (OSH). The awards were organised by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) as part of its pan-European Healthy Workplaces Campaigns.

The focus of the 2020-22 campaign — Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load — was on preventing and reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the workplace. It promoted the importance of raising awareness of MSD prevention among employers and workers who can collaborate to find practical solutions in addressing risks, thus creating a culture of prevention in Europe’s workplaces.

On 14th and 15th November, the Healthy Workplaces Summit 2022 in Bilbao will bring together leading European experts and decision makers to discuss the results of the ‘Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign 2020-22, share knowledge and explore future strategies for the effective prevention of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) at workplaces.
