The Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities (MDDSZ) is responsible for the status, rights and obligations of workers arising from labour; the pension and disability insurance scheme; collective agreements; employment policy at home and abroad; preventing undeclared work and employment; unemployment insurance; the status and the comprehensive social protection of disabled persons, youths, children and families; scholarships and vocational training; family and demographic policy; social protection and welfare; social assistance for deprived individuals, families and population groups; the situation of women and the provision of equal opportunities for women and men; training children with development disorders and protection of persons who are incapable of taking care of themselves.
