Founded in 2011, YEDI has reached over 250,000 young people in schools and communities in Abuja FCT and Lagos, Akwa-Ibom, and Ogun States, with evidence-based programmes designed to facilitate access to health services and promote adherence to healthy behaviours.

YEDI has deep experience in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH), Orphans and Vulnerable Children & Youth (OVCY) Programming, Combination HIV Prevention, Malaria Prevention Education, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention, Neglected Tropical Diseases Prevention Awareness, Positive Youth Development, and Community Mobilisation.

Part of the program is the Workplace Wellness Training. This was designed to bolster and promote the health of employees across Nigeria. The innovative training program is tailored to provide information and raise awareness on the health needs of clients by training private sector workforce. It covers health, wellness, global practices on personal hygiene, etc. for employees using innovative means to deliver the message and encourage behavioural change in the area of personal hygiene, prevention of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other infectious diseases.
