As technology continues to transform the educational landscape, adult educators face growing demands to adapt and integrate digital tools into their teaching, learning, and administrative practices. This project seeks to equip adult educators with the skills they need to not only meet these challenges but also to foster more inclusive and equitable lifelong learning environments.
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) to promote lifelong learning for all, the initiative will support the development of an indicative Digital Competency Framework for Adult Educators. This framework called Digital Empowerment for Lifelong learning, Teaching and Andragogy (DELTA), along with sample training modules, will help educators across diverse contexts — ranging from citizenship education to navigating emerging and advanced technologies — acquire and apply digital skills effectively.
