Beyond lessons, everyday school practice should therefore be designed to be as health-promoting as possible in order to gradually allow appropriate thinking and actions to become the norm. Participation in the “State Program for Good Healthy Schools in Bavaria” is an ideal way to get started. All Bavarian schools, regardless of the type of school, can take part in the competition and apply for the award. This is valid for one year. Repeated participation in the state program is desirable; new projects can be carried out or established programs can be continued and further developed. In any case, annual registration is required.
