Pima Partnership Schools is part of Pima Prevention Partnership (PPP), a non-profit organization serving Southern Arizona since 1992. PPP builds partnerships with young people, families, and communities to improve their quality of life, addressing individual and community problems such as substance abuse, teen pregnancy, mental health disorders, and more. PPP’s charter schools use six successful strategies to help students learn: A "real world" curriculum that includes foundations for career preparation A responsive way of teaching that addresses different learning styles of students A staff that participates in ongoing professional development to better serve students A climate that stresses academic excellence, good behavior, and kindness to others A safe environment with zero tolerance policies regarding illegal drug use and violence Meaningful involvement for parents and caregivers to support student learning
