A website showing a collection of available Apps dealing with OSH. With the proliferation of smartphones, like Research in Motion’s ubiquitous BlackBerry and Apple’s iPhone, came a flurry of mobile applications designed to make users a little more productive with their mobile devices. From recreation to business, developers are coming up with apps for almost every aspect of one’s day to day activities. In the world of OHS, mobile apps are increasingly becoming another tool in the workplace health and safety toolbox. This collection shows just some of the apps currently available for BlackBerry and iPhone that allow users to access important and potentially life-saving OHS information. Some of them are free and some require purchase. (Note: It is not COS’s intention to endorse any of these apps, but rather to provide a reference for smartphone users in the safety profession. )
