Conducting of cross-subject project lessons on the subject of health. Each project group is able to select, research, and develop solutions and ideas for a topical subject or one of interest to it, such as exercise, the school as a workplace, nutrition, addiction, psychosocial health, or the environment. The Oberösterreichische Gebietskrankenkasse (regional health insurance fund of Upper Austria) offers support and advice during the project, reimbursement of expenses of up to €727 per school, provision of up-to-date information material free of charge, and the arrangement of experts. The schools produce a written project report describing the subjects of the project and the solutions and ideas emanating from it. The projects themselves and awards are presented at a concluding event. The ORF (Austrian radio and television) reports on the projects. The projects are documented and made available to interested parties. Up to 22 schools may participate in the project scheme each school year. Co-operation with the regional schools authority for Upper Austria and the ORF regional studio in Upper Austria.
