11 cooperation partners and supporters are involved: These include health and health insurance companies, health and prevention facilities, the daycare and school catering network and the Brandenburg State Sports Association. Interested schools are offered a wide range of advice and further training and at the same time materials are provided, for example in the areas of:
• healthy eating and nutrition education,
• health through exercise,
• Conflict and stress management as well as social interaction,
• Addiction prevention as well
• mental health.
In addition, the schools receive support in implementing the topic of “health promotion” in lessons. The following are available as a guide:
• the “Good Healthy School” management manual and
• the LISUM - handout for the overarching topic of health promotion.
