University of Applied Sciences Erfurt
The University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and the health insurance company " AOK PLUS " started this project in 2009. A project group with representatives of the insurance company and the University (University Board, Staff, Student Council, Project Manager / initiator etc.) put together the tasks for the period until the end of 2011. Project Director is Prof. Dr. Karl-Heinz Stange from the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences. FH Erfurt became the first university in Thuringia which was involved in such a project for health prevention for members of the university. An important innovation was that not only the staff of the university can participate in the project, but also the students were explicitly included and could particularly benefit from prevention services.
