The Secondary College for Food Technology and Grain Cultivation in Wels and the Wels Labour Inspectorate compiled an explosion protection document for the school mill. Based on the relevant legislation, a first concept was developed and discussed with the experts for explosion protection of the Thalheim Technical Supervision Agency. In the course of the project, the students also learned about the responsibilities and procedures of the Technical Supervision Agency. The young people demonstrated their knowledge at the joint lecture held by the bakers' guild and the Labour Inspectorate on "Explosion Protection for Flour Silos". Four students presented the project at the local closing event, which was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Wels, the Provincial Guild Master of the federal provinces of Styria, Salzburg and Upper Austria and representatives from the mill and plant engineering industries.
