Steering Committee Meeting 2019 in Düsseldorf, Germany
On November 6, 2019, the 13th ENETOSH Steering Committee Meeting took place in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The meeting was followed by the event “How to reach young people” at A+A 36th International Congress for Occupational Safety and Health in Düsseldorf. At the same day a MoU was signed by Ehi Iden, President of OSHAfrica and Ulrike Bollmann, President of ENETOSH. On the agenda of the ENETOSH Steering Committee Meeting were the recent developments of the network and reports from the Task Forces. Emeritus Professor at the Technical University Delft, Paul Swuste, was welcomed as a new member in the Steering Committee. Tim Tregenza, EU-OSHA, informed about the recent stage of the preparation of the upcoming campaign on MSD, particularly on the preparation of MSD and Youth. Our distinguished guest, Johannes Siegrist, Senior Professor at University Düsseldorf and Nuria Mancebo, Chair of the ENETOSH Task Force Higher Education, informed about a new project on SDG 8 through Higher Education.
The next ENETOSH Steering Committee Meeting will take place on March 26, 2020 in connection with the next joint EU-OSHA – ENETOSH workshop “Learning on the move: a cross-over approach to promote the musculoskeletal health of young people” on 25 – 26 March 2020, DGUV Congress – Congress Center of the IAG – Dresden, Germany.
