The project has developed the first open, Internet-based learning material for OSH in Finland. The learning material does not cover the whole basic OSH course. The material is recommended for use in combination with face-to-face interaction between student and teacher or in a study group between students. Thus the TYVE-material is comparable to a textbook in traditional learning, but with new possibilities enabled by the computer based environment.

The website offers different topics, as there are

• Accidents at work
• risk assessment
• security management
• occupational safety acts
• overall security
• ergonomicshygiene
• corporate security

For most of the topics, there are three main areas: Comic-style animations, theory information and tasks for learning and practicing.
