Network, Good Practice & Standards
Active collaboration in a transnational networkAs a transnational network funded by the Leonardo da Vinci programme, ENETOSH’s task is to pool knowledge and experience in a particular field and to promote knowledge-sharing between experts and knowledge transfer in the field in Europe. During the pilot project, the aim was to create structures that would ensure the network continued to exist after funding stopped.
The following have proved to be success factors for the network members’ active collaboration with one another:

- Low level of hierarchy and bureaucracy
- Good balance between give and take

- Joint agreement of goals and actions
- Change in the network culture
- Regular meetings in person
- Additional partners
- Development of the idea behind the network based on a long-term approach
- Thorough evaluation during ongoing activities
- Political framework (e.g. EU Community strategy and EQF at European level; New OSH strategies at national level)
